With a combination of heavy-weight noise absorbent acoustic foam pads, thermal tape, and dual side-mounted aluminum heatsinks, the Luxurae HDSS reduces vibrational noise and motor whine from any 3.5" hard drive from 3 to 8 dBA and stays cool in even the most demanding conditions. For additional cooling, this product can be used with our 40x20mm fan.
